The Canvas Area is the main workspace of the Survey Editor. When documentation refers to the Canvas Area or Canvas, it means the Survey Editor Canvas Area.

The Canvas displays the entire survey flow, showing question nodes, transition lines, question groupings, and other core survey elements. Working together with the toolbar, it supports various survey editing operations. All core survey editing tasks are performed on the canvas.

When a survey contains many elements, only a portion may be visible in the Canvas. You can drag the empty areas of the Canvas to view other parts of the survey. Alternatively, you can click or drag the frame in the Mini-map located in the bottom-right corner to quickly navigate to different sections. The Mini-map provides a thumbnail view of the entire survey, with a small frame indicating your current Canvas view area. This allows you to see both the complete survey content and your current position within it.

Using a higher resolution display will provide more Canvas workspace, making survey design more convenient.
