Node Operations

    Select a survey node on the canvas and click the node operation buttons at the bottom of the View toolbar to perform specific node operations. The main functions include:

    Select Previous Nodes

    Select all nodes before the current node.

    Select Following Nodes

    Select all nodes after the current node.

    Auto-align Selected Nodes

    Automatically align the positions of all selected nodes.

    Join Connection

    Hold Shift to select multiple nodes and a connection line, then click the Join Connection button to automatically connect these nodes to the target connection.

    Extract from Connection

    Select a node and click the Extract button to remove it from the path connection. The connection will automatically link to subsequent nodes, maintaining path integrity.

    Break Connection

    Select a node and click the Break Connection button to disconnect its connections.

    Clone Node

    Instantly duplicate the currently selected node, creating an identical clone on the canvas.

    Delete Node

    Remove the currently selected node and its connecting lines.

    Show Node Complexity

    Toggle the Show Node Complexity feature. When enabled, the system displays a complexity index above each survey node. Higher values indicate questions that may require more time for respondents to complete.

    Node Snap

    Toggle the Node Snap feature. When enabled, nodes will attempt to align with other nodes while being dragged on the canvas, creating a neater survey layout.

    Hide Unused Nodes

    Toggle the Hide Unused Nodes feature. When enabled, nodes that are not in use will be hidden from the canvas view.

    Note: All nodes remain visible in the bird's eye view.
