Operation Shortcuts

  • C: Expand or collapse the currently selected node.
  • Ctrl C: Copy the selected node to the clipboard.
  • Ctrl X: Cut the selected node to the clipboard.
  • Ctrl V: Paste the node from the clipboard to the current mouse position.
  • Ctrl D: One-click copy and paste the selected node to the current mouse position.
  • BackSpace: Delete the selected node or connection.
  • H: Locate the current node.
  • Ctrl 9: Display all nodes.
  • Ctrl +: Zoom in the canvas area.
  • Ctrl -: Zoom out the canvas area.
  • Ctrl Z: Undo the last operation.
  • Ctrl Y: Redo the last operation.
  • Ctrl G: Group the selected ungrouped nodes.
  • Ctrl G: Remove the selected nodes from the group.
  • Ctrl G: Dissolve the selected node group.
  • A: Select all nodes after the current node, including the current node.
  • Alt A: Select all nodes after the current node, excluding the current node.
  • Ctrl A: If a group is currently selected, only all nodes within the selected group will be selected; otherwise, all nodes in the entire questionnaire will be selected.
  • B: Select all nodes before the current node, including the current node.
  • Alt B: Select all nodes before the current node, excluding the current node.
  • L: Organize the selected nodes; do nothing if no nodes are selected.
  • S: Open/Close the left node navigation bar.
  • Ctrl S: Save the questionnaire.
  • Ctrl Shift S: Save the questionnaire as a version.
  • : When a single connection is selected, jump to the source node of that connection; when a single node is selected, jump to the previous node; otherwise, move the canvas to the left.
  • Shift ←: Quickly move the canvas to the left.
  • : When a single connection is selected, jump to the target node of that connection; when a single node is selected, jump to the next node; otherwise, move the canvas to the right.
  • Shift →: Quickly move the canvas to the right.
  • : When a single node is selected, jump to the previous sibling node; otherwise, move the canvas up.
  • Shift ↑: Quickly move the canvas up.
  • : When a single node is selected, jump to the next sibling node; otherwise, move the canvas down.
  • Shift ↓: Quickly move the canvas down.
  • Ctrl F: Open the global search bar in search mode.
  • Ctrl R: Open the global search bar in replace mode.
  • P: Open/Close the preview window.
  • Ctrl P: Open the print preview page.
  • Esc: Deselect the node.
  • Space: Long press to enter canvas drag mode, suitable for occasions when the nodes on the current canvas are dense and you want to quickly drag the canvas with the mouse.
  • F5: Force refresh the error validation status.

Commonly Used Operation Skills

  • Add a Node: Open the left node bar and click on a node; or drag a node to a specific location on the canvas; or right-click on a blank area of the canvas and select the node to be added from the pop-up menu.
  • Add a Connection: Hold the mouse button on a connection point of a node and drag it to another connection point, then release the mouse button. If the connection turns red, it means that these two connection points cannot be connected.
  • Quickly Output to a New Node: Hold the Shift key, drag a connection from the output port and release it on a blank area of the canvas, then select the node to be added and output to from the pop-up menu.
  • Quickly Output to an Existing Node Across the View Area: Hold the Alt key, drag a connection from the output port and release it on a blank area of the canvas, then select the node to output to from the pop-up menu.
  • Quickly Move the Canvas Across the View Area: Click on the desired location in the eagle-eye map at the bottom right corner.
  • Select a Single Node or Connection: Click on a node or connection on the canvas with the mouse.
  • Select Multiple Nodes: Hold the Ctrl key and click on each node you want to select with the mouse.
  • Select Nodes by Dragging a Rectangle: Hold the Ctrl key, drag the mouse on the canvas to create a rectangular box, and automatically select the nodes within the rectangular box.
  • Move the Canvas: Hold the mouse button on a blank area of the canvas and drag it.
  • Move the Selected Node: Hold the mouse button on any selected node and drag it.
  • Move a Node Across the View Area: Drag the node slowly towards the edge of the canvas.
  • Drag a Connection Across the View Area: Drag the connection slowly towards the edge of the canvas.
  • Remove a Node from a Connection: Hold the Shift key and drag the node. If you also hold the Alt key, the connections between the dragged nodes will be retained; otherwise, these connections will be discarded.
  • Insert an Existing Node into a Connection: Hold the Shift key and drag the node so that the mouse covers the connection before releasing. If you also hold the Alt key, the connections between the dragged nodes will be retained; otherwise, these connections will be discarded.
  • Insert a New Node into a Connection: Right-click on the connection, or hold the Shift key and left-click on the connection, then select the node to be inserted from the pop-up menu.
  • Remove a Group from a Connection: Hold the Shift key and drag the group.
  • Insert a Node Group into a Connection: Hold the Shift key and drag the group so that the mouse covers the connection before releasing.
  • Add a Node to an Existing Node Group: Hold the Alt key and drag the node into the group frame.
  • Remove a Node from a Node Group: Hold the Alt key and drag the node out of the group frame.
  • Add a Transit Point: Hold the Alt key and click on the connection.
  • Quickly Zoom In or Out the Canvas: Hold the Ctrl key and scroll the mouse wheel.

Commonly Used Operation Skills
