Point Allocation
Point Allocation
Point allocation questions are a commonly used question type in questionnaire design. Respondents are required to allocate a certain numerical value to different options based on specific instructions. The values can be a fixed total (e.g., 100 points) or a custom range. Through numeric allocation, the respondents' preference levels for each option can be intuitively reflected. Compared to single-choice or multiple-choice questions, numeric allocation questions can provide richer preference information.

Point allocation questions operate similarly to slider rating questions, where respondents slide a bar to determine the score for each option, but with the added functionality of weight control.

At the top of the answer page, a weight indicator displays the proportion of each option in different colors.
