Screening Question
Screening Question
In questionnaire design, screening respondents (i.e., selecting suitable participants) is a key step to ensure the accuracy and validity of survey results. Screening helps identify individuals who align with the research objectives, excluding those who do not meet the criteria or do not answer seriously, ensuring that the sample represents the target population and avoids data bias. At the same time, it prevents the waste of resources on irrelevant or unqualified respondents, improving research efficiency. Users can use screening question nodes to screen respondents. After adding a screening node to the questionnaire, the screening node separates regular questions from screening questions. All nodes before the screening node turn gray, while nodes after the screening node remain colored. These grayed-out questions are referred to as screening questions, and the screening node itself is not displayed on the answer page.

Screening Mode Questions
When a survey requires the generation of quotas and the setting of quota numbers, a screening node must be added to the survey. Only then can screening questions in the survey be generated and a quota table be set up. When setting quotas, screening questions and their options will be used.
When analyzing responses, the data from screening questions will be treated specially.
